The dust has just settled and it's time to sum up Kalmar's biggest neighbourhood party with a big THANK YOU!
How do you measure "crowded", how do you explain "amazing" and how do you recount the impression of "thousands of smiles"?
It's not easy, of course, but we who were there know exactly. Don't we? The opening of the Giraffe Quarter was a wonderful neighbourhood party of a rare kind. And it was all of us together who made it happen. Visitors, our friends the shops, the coffee lovers, the musicians, the artists, the customers and everyone else. No one forgotten. With musical elements, entertainment, delicious food, light shows, autumn crafts, opening offers and spontaneous antics, it all turned into a very pleasant and bubbly block party.
If you weren't able to join us, don't feel too bad. The Giraffe neighbourhood is not going anywhere. Everything is there. Everything is in place. Just as inviting and just as fantastic as at the opening. Lots of new shops to discover and new meeting places to visit.
We'll think about how we can make the neighbourhood party a regular tradition. You will come, won't you?
